Rosemary is a popular herb that is perfect for cooking, for example in meat and potato dishes. Start growing your own rosemary to enjoy it fresh or dried!
Rosemary is the sweet herb with long-slender leaves and a lovely, aromatic scent. It is a popular flavour used with different meat and potato dishes. The leaves can also be used to make tea. The herb is perennial but is recommended to overwinter indoors in a cool area or be cultivated annually.
Rosemary prefers growing in sandy, warm soil where it grows slowly and unevenly. If you want dried rosemary, make sure to cut off stems from the plant before it starts to bloom. Tie the stems into bunches and hang them to dry.
